Itinerary

Day1:Welcome to Egypt

Arrive at Cairo International Airport; you will be met by our representative who will help you get your visa, then escort you through immigration, luggage, and on to your air-conditioned bus for the Ritz Carlton, Nile View room.

Day2:Saqqara, Memphis, Giza

This morning after breakfast, join our guide to the famous pyramids of Giza. Roam the Giza desert and capture memories with a photo session. Go camel riding and view the great Sphinx on the Giza Plateau. Then drive to the remains of the Ancient Egyptian capital and religious cult center: Memphis. The name Memphis (enduring and beautiful) gives you an insight into what you’ll witness of amazing statues that immortalized the biography of Egyptian kings: Ptah, Ramses ll, Sekhmet, Merneptahm, and others. Then heading to Saqqara for the first built pyramid, also called the step pyramid, where you’ll venture inside its hidden chambers. Visit Unas pyramid which contains the oldest known copy of The Book of the dead. Head to Mastaba of one of ancient Egypt Noblemen we will return to the Ritz Carlton, Nile View room. View room. Meals. Day3:Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo

This morning, join our expert Egyptologist to explore the Egyptian Museum to view a vast trove of artifacts; some never before displayed. Some of which include the famous golden mask of King Tut Ankh Amun, One of Egypt’s most controversial kings. After that, we’ll travel to Old Cairo to see the city’s oldest temples, synagogues, and mosques. Finally, return to the Nile View room at the back to our hotel Four Seasons Nile view room.  Meals B.& L.

Day4:Explore Luxor

Early this day, we will take a 1-hour flight to Luxor, with its abundance of temples and tombs, stands head and shoulders above Egypt’s other cities, to visit the Luxor museum, which holds an outstandingly exhibited collection, which tells the story of ancient Thebes from the Old Kingdom up to the Islamic Period. Enjoy horse riding in the old market, and get a taste of Egyptian food at one of the local restaurants. And back to the Hotel Luxury Nile room. Winter Palace Nile view room.  Meals B.& L.

Day5:Luxor: Valley of queens & tombs of the nobles

Tour the Valley of the queens where Ancient Egyptian queens were buried alongside their sons and enjoy the vibrant, almost-like newly painted colors. Heading for some local restaurant for lunch; then moving to the valley of Nobles. There you’ll learn about the everyday life of ancient Egyptian rather than the royals. Because not all tombs there are discovered, you might come across one or two of the Archaeological excavations. Returning to your room at Winter Palace Nile view room. Meals B.&L.

Day6:Tour Dendara and Abydos

Today we will enjoy driving for 3 hours to get to Abydos’ temple, one of the beautiful temples that date back to 1250 BC. Built by Ramses II and his Father, it considers to be one of the temples with the king list that includes the names of the ancient Egyptian kings since 3200 BC, till 1250 BC. After we tour it, we will drive for an hour and a half to visit the temple of Dendara, the best-preserved ceiling ever among the ancient Egyptian temples, and the one with the largest wall carving for Queen Cleopatra. Then we will drive back to Luxor, overnight Winter Palace Nile view room.   Meals B.& L.

Day7:Luxor: Karnak & Luxor temples

We’re still at Luxor; Thebes, the great city of the Middle and New Kingdom pharaohs, was once located here, and today you’ll be indulging the fresh aroma of the Nile with our cruise boat on your way to visit the Luxor East Bank. Heading to Temple of Karnak, the most astonishing and beautiful feat out of all Luxor’s many monuments. Within its precincts are the Great Temple of Amun (God of sun and air), the Temple of Khons, and the Festival Temple of Tuthmosis III, as well as many other buildings. following the Sphinx avenue to Luxor Temple also known as “The southern harem of Amun”, dedicated to worship Amun. Part of the temple was converted into a church during the Christian era, and the Mosque of Abu el-Haggag, dedicated to a revered holy man, was constructed within the complex grounds during the Islamic period. We will then be going back to our Oberoi Phila Ultra Luxury Nile cruise. Meals B. L & D.

Day8:Luxor: Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut temple & village of the workers

On this day after breakfast, you’ll visit the famed Valley of the Kings, the final resting place for the kings of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties, which was concealed between rocky cliffs. It’s mainly famous for its vivid wall paintings. The walls are decorated with texts and scenes describing one’s afterlife journey giving them instructions to complete their journey successfully. There are 63 tombs in the valley, including the famous boy-king Tut Ankh Amun. The tombs are open on a rotating basis to protect the paintings from damage by humidity as much as possible.

We will then visit the Worker Village, which describes the life of the ancient Egyptian middle-class life, and how their graves were completely different from the royal class’s graves, small and humble yet honorable, sacred and radiant with colors. Last but not least, we will pay a visit to the tomb of the great and woman pioneer: Queen Hatshepsut. The Temple of Deir Al-Bahri or Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple is situated at the foot of the sheer cliffs fringing the desert hills. The color contrast between the almost white sandstones of the temple and the golden yellow rocks and sand of the desert brings out the Temple in a magnificent image. Having survived the destructive attempts from King Thutmose lll, the temple still stands with glory amongst other great temples.

And at last, on our way back to the cruise ship, we’ll visit the Colossi of Memnon, They portray Amenophis III, sitting on a cube-shaped throne and once guarded the king’s temple entrance. Back to our Oberoi Phila Ultra Luxury Nile cruise.  Meals B. L & D.

Day9:Luxor: Edfu, Kom Ombo & Sailing

Our guide will accompany you on a horse-riding and carriage ride to the Temple of Edfu or the Temple of Horus (Son of Isis and Osiris, God of kinship and power). After the Pagan cult was banned, the desert sand filled up the temple making it one of the most well-preserved ancient monuments of Egypt. At lunchtime, we’ll return to the cruise ship and enjoy the afternoon sliding up the river on your way to Kom Ombo, which rises above the Nile’s bank. The Temple of the gods: Sobek and Horus represented in the forms of crocodile and falcon respectively. You can feel the atmosphere of this glorious history by strolling along the temple’s colonnades and simply gazing up at scenes of pharaonic ambiance. Continue sailing To Aswan throughout the evening. Day10:Private tour to Aswan high dam and Phila temple, sailboat after lunch

After breakfast, you will meet our guide in the lobby to start your tour to Aswan High dam, Phila temple, which is one of many temples that were moved from its original location because of the construction of the dame, and the unfinished obelisk, the granite quarry that used by ancient Egyptians since the old kingdom age, even they used some of its blocks for the pavement of the area around the pyramid. Day11:Abu Simbel and check in to your hotel for the old cataract

After having breakfast at 7 am, check out the cruise ( Fly To Abu Simbel if. Suppose there is no flight, so you will meet your guide in the lobby to start a private tour of the great temples of Abu Simbel built by Ramses the great, 1280 B.C. That will be 3 hours’ drive to go and 2 hours tours then 3 hours to drive back.  Lunch will be served in a Local house ) Upon arrival in Aswan, check into your ultra-Luxury hotel. Day12:Check out of the cruise, tour to the Nubian museum, sailboat in the River Nile

Day 13 to Day 16Fly to Sharm El Sheikh via Cairo

After breakfast, we will fly to Cairo airport to catch our flight to Sharm El Sheikh; upon arrival, meet and assist, our rep will escort you to your hotel Rixos Sea gate sea view room.

Day17:Fly back to Cairo to catch your flight back home

Today is the day you’ll say goodbye to the Pharo’s land. You’ll catch your flight to Cairo and from there to your homeland. We wish a safe journey and wish to see you again.
