Tour to the Great Pyramids – Step Pyramid OF Sakkara.
After breakfast, meet your guide to starting a private guided tour to visit the step pyramid of Sakkara, which is the first stone building in the world. You will explore the pyramid of Unas to Enjoy, the oldest written hieroglyphic text from ancient Egypt. Also, you will enter the burial chamber of king Zoser that was closed since they discovered the pyramid, lunch break, then we drive to the Great pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, then go back to your hotel Fairmont Nile city Delux Nile view room.
Grand Egyptian Museum.
After breakfast, we will meet your guide to visit the Egyptian museum, with the vast collection of monuments covering our Egyptian history. You will enjoy the golden mask of the boy king Tutankhamen. The enormous collection of ancient Egyptian monuments, lunch, then drive back to your hotel Fairmont Nile city Delux Nile view room. Meals, B & L.
Day 4- Fly to Luxor and tour Luxor East Bank, Karnak and Luxor temples.
After breakfast this morning, we will take the 1-hour flight to Luxor, where we will check-in your hotel, Lunch in a local restaurant then enjoy a private tour to Luxor East bank. Karnak is the largest temple complex globally, the 64 acre Karnak temple with its oldest parts from 2000 BC and added to 1200 years of pharaoh’s dynasties. Then we will follow the Sphinx avenue to Luxor Temple, much smaller but just as interesting with the remnant of Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome and even Coptic and Islamic era building. We will then head to your hotel Winter Palace Nile View. Meals B. L.
Day 5 – Tour valley of the kings, Hatshepsut Temple and village of the workers.
After breakfast, head to the Kings’ Valley to visit the tombs of the ancient Egyptian king since 1550 B.C. The colours and skill will amaze you; your private tour guide will explain the secrets and symbols of the journey to the afterlife depicted on the walls. As a special treat, you will see the small but amazing tomb of King Tutankhamen with his mummy still residing there. We will then visit the Worker Village, where you will see the middle class’s life who worked on the tombs; you will have a chance to visit their personal tombs, much smaller than the king’s tombs but well preserved with amazing colours. We will then visit the mortuary temple of Queen Hatsheput and walk up the ramps where her priests paid homage for generations. Finally, on our way back to the cruise ship, we will stop at the Colossi of Memnon, the huge statues of Amenhotep III. then drive to Luxor airport to catch your flight to Cairo and Fly back home.
